Step or more likely Squeeeeeze In to this famous landmark in Truckee, CA and you’ll likely be surrounded with a decade or interesting artifacts lining the walls, and signatures of guests in sharpee marker lining the walls so fully that you would think it was wall paper.  Known for fresh squeezed juices and the world’s best omelette I was pleasantly surprised at this tasty local hangout.  Most interesting was a list of famous house-made sauces to top their monumental list of egg and breakfast offerings.  This post is to remind us all that food merchandising and restaurant design doesn’t always have to be clean and crisp…sometimes people are just looking for that totally crammed, “not an empty space on the wall”, eclectic little unique dining place that you might have walk past if you blinked.  I was particularly fond of the plating flare.  This curved orange slice was the top  to an exceptionally colorful plate, as seem below.  The colorful fresh fruit and garnish was something so rarely seen these days.  As you can see this stuffed omelette was perfectly placed and prepared!
