Strategy Session
In 2010 our consultant implemented a farmers market strategy and increased sales by double digits! We called it “SPEND ($)10”, (Yes, inflation is going to notch this sales level up a bit this year) We decided that if we could get every average vegetable stand sale around $5 to $10 we could easily offer a simple free item to the customer, (in our case a fresh produce item we were “long” on that day) and significantly increase our sales. It works! Here’s a few recommended ways to use our coloring book program.- Drive Sales & Larger Baskets: Customize our highly fun & colorful coloring book and offer them for sale at $4-$5 each. You’ll be able to at a minimum double your money on everyone sold OR offer one for free with every $50 purchase (or set your own dollar amount), (essentially a 10% or less discount that costs you less than the retail dollar value) to drive sales. You’ll be amazed at what a marketing promotion can generate if it’s well communicated and signed properly! Usually the fun and large sales also generate smiles, excitement, and a whole lot of positive momentum!
- Marketing Memories: Remember it’s also a marketing piece which might live on in someone’s home for future months helping family’s remember fun memories at your location. Included on the back is a little summary of your farm with all your contact information!
